He is seeking counseling as this anger is growing and permeates every aspect of his life.

He feels inadequate as a husband. He states that his relationships with his wife’s family is strained, and he sees that as the root of his problems, as they do not approve of him. He has always continued to extend himself to great personal lengths to win and maintain his in-laws’ support, yet they are still critical of him, even though he agreed he, his wife and the baby will visit them 3 times a week, as per the in-law’s request.
