Assignment Description: the following question needs to be answered about wells fargo.

Team Project (Parts A & B below)

The team project includes a business analysis involving the application of the global principles and methods addressed in the course. The deliverable include an in-class team presentation with slides and a peer evaluation.

The class will be divided into groups based on the class size. The scenario will be Banking institution with an ethical dilemma in its past. The following companies fit the scope for this assignment: Wells Fargo. The company is looking to expand into a market where there are currently no operations/investments. The company must decide what type of approach to take for the expansion.

A) Team Presentation with slides (75 pts). THE PRESENTATIONS WILL BE SCHEDULED DURING TWO CLASS TIMES: ON THURSDAY, MARCH 7 AND ON TUESDAY, MARCH 12. The presentation must be 20 minutes +/- 2 minutes and all team members must present. The slides should include the following: title, introduction, content, conclusion, and references. The content slides should include the items below.

Company Overview

1. Company Global Vision/Mission and Values/Principles.
2. Company Financials – Assess the last 5 years.
3. Company Organizational Structure. Consider centralized versus decentralized organizational structures.

SWOT Analysis

1. Describe the various strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
2. Provide a recommendation for one strength, one weakness, one opportunity, and one threat for international expansion.

Ethical Dilemma

1. Describe a public ethical dilemma the company faced.
2. How did the company handle it?
3. What were the lessons learned from the ethical dilemma?

Strategic Global Opportunity

1. What is the opportunity?

Recommendation and Implementation

1. Why do you recommend this opportunity?
2. How would you implement this recommendation?
3. What global challenges will determine success or failure of the recommendation?
