Part 1 – Broadband X Read the Broadband-X case Preet Zayan has asked for your help in creating the documents that will make up the project plan for implementing ERP at Broadband-X.  Use your critical thinking skills! Assignment Specifics Preet has asked your team to draft the Expected Benefits and Associated KPIs section of the project plan. The document you create should: Include a title page with the name Include a table of contents Have a section for each benefit Broadband-X expects to achieve by implementing the new ERP system.  In some cases this will be the remedy of a current problem.  In others it will be a potential business improvement.  You should have at least 5 sections.  For each benefit include: A paragraph describing the problems and improvements At the conclusion of the project, how Broadband-X can measure whether or not this benefit was achieved Be written as if you are a member of the Broadband-X team — so “we” not “they” — and were using this document to help manage the project Submit in a word document Part 2 Assignment Specifics Preet has asked your team to draft the Risk Management section of the project plan. Hint: You may find it useful to do a little internet research on common ERP implementation risks. The document you create should: Include a title page with the name Include a table of contents Have a section for each risk Broadband-X may face in executing the ERP implementation.  You should be able to identify at least 5 risks.  Each section should include: A shorthand title for the risk (for example: “Inconsistent accounting data while running parallel”) A paragraph describing the possible negative outcome and how it could harm Broadband-X A paragraph describing how the risk can be mitigated (prepared for so as to lessen the effects) Be written as if you are a member of the Broadband-X team — so “we” not “they” — and were using this document to help manage the project Part 3 Preet Zayan has asked for your help in creating the documents that will make up the project plan for implementing ERP at Broadband-X. You can submit excel Assignment Specifics Preet has asked your team to create the initial Gantt Chart for the ERP implementation project. The Gantt you create should: Be based on the data provided in Exhibit 2 in the Broadband-X case Include summary tasks for the Milestones Correctly reflect the given task durations Correctly reflect the FS and SS relationships Be based on a 5 day workweek and a project start date of the first of next month Display a rectangle that represents the timing of each task (in other words, be a Gantt chart) You do NOT need to: Adjust for holidays or vacations Assign resources Include percentage complete
