Potential bias – One potential form of bias is the “framing effect,” where researchers tend to interpret QI information presented in a “positive frame.” (Ballard, 2019). This may indicate a higher level of performance as the same underlying data is presented in a “negative frame” (Ballard, 2019). As a result, the DPI project may indicate positive outcomes, yet other research findings are associated with minimal or no positive impact from implementing the ABCDE intervention bundle. This way, the DPI project may be limited and biased. This limitation may decrease the quality of the DPI project’s evidence regarding the ABCDE bundle’s effectiveness and implementation.  This section is to address potential bias and limitation of research/ QI project (quality improvement).
