Choose a specific workplace environment that requires regular written communication. It might be a workplace you have experience with, or it might be a workplace you hope to enter when you have earned your degree.

Write a 350- to 700-word short-answer paper about that discusses the workplace in a way that reflects the reading in response to the following prompts:

• What are the primary audiences for written communication, and what is the audience’s direction relative to your position in the workplace?
• What types of media (such as email, instant messages, memos, and so on) would be most suited to the audiences you have identified?
• What kind of tone would be most appropriate for this workplace?

Use only the Gerson and Gerson text as the foundation for this assignment (do not do outside research).

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines, making sure to cite any quotations, summaries, or paraphrases and reference the source.
