I think that a good amount of the concerns that the Americans had over the Soviet aggression was exaggerated and not a lot of it was real. The US didn’t really want any part in war world 2 but they were forced to go into after Germany attacked. I don’t think that the US cared about the Soviet, as long as they won and they made it out at the end. The US really just wanted the Soviet to do it’s own thing but they also didn’t want Germany to win at the same time. I don’t really think that the US had any concerns when it came to the Soviet since they didn’t want to be involved like I said before. If they didn’t want any part to do with all the war, what would be the point in them to having an concerns when it came to the Soviet.

I think that American concern about the Soviets was a little exaggerated, but for the most part it was not. One reason the United States was concerned with the Soviets was due to the fact that they were communists. Another reason for Americas concern pertaining to the Soviets was the nuclear and missile arms race. Americans were concerned with what the weapons could do to them and their country. The United States also feared the Soviets airlift and viewed it as a sign of aggression towards them. All of these things plus more lead to the United States being concerned with the Soviet actions and their aggression.
