Synthesis Paper Breakdown – Due Week 6
The best way to tackle this paper, going by the rubric, is to pick five (5) of your core courses that you have studied while attending Belhaven. Only core courses will work, so do not use any general education or bible courses. You will need to address the following:
- What you learned in the course, add some CWV (Christian WorldView) and then some workplace application.
Example:Business Policy – you should have picked up something on Strategic Planning, such as vision, mission, goals and objectives, Add Genesis Chapter 1 and possibly 2 because this is the beginning and God’s Vision, and then Workplace Application.
There is no way for you to write about everything you learned in each course! Just pick a topic and write about it following the rubric: Topic, CWV, Workplace Application. Make sure it meets the page requirements in the module – I do not count title or reference page in the page count. If it says 5 pages then I am looking for 5 pages of content and not 3.

Responsible Research Responsible research is a critical component of education, and any individual conducting research mu st learn how to investigate, read, understand, sys tematize, interpret, and finally explain complex ideas and issues in writing. An individual conducting research must also understand that ideas found in literature, media presentations, interviews or any o ther form of media do not belong to the researcher and therefore must be given credit through proper documentation. It is required that every person conducting research provides proper credit through correct use of documentation not only to prevent plagiar ism, but also to demonstrate respect to the originator of the idea. This is not acceptable research. • Include references (including source and page numbers) which document every source upon which you have in any way relied for each paragrap h of your paper. If sources are not properly referenced, the student has cheated the sources out of deserved credit and cheated readers out of valuable information. • Do not use material from any other student’s paper or work unless you give that student ful l credit in reference notes. Re s ponsible Research Responsible research is a critical com ponent of education, and any individual conducting research must learn how to investigate, read, understand, sys tematize, interpret, and finally explain complex ideas and issues in writing. An individua l conducting research must also understand that ideas found in literature, media presentations, interviews or any other form of media do not belong to the researcher and therefore must be given credit through proper documentation. It is required that every person conducting research provides proper credit th rough correct use of documentation not only to prevent plagiarism, but also to demonstrate respect to the originator of the idea. Spe cific Practice s to Avoid • Do not attempt to get a research paper from the Internet (or anywhere else) and submit as your paper. This is dishonest and unethical. • Do not copy from any book, article, or encyclopedi a and submit this for your paper. This is not acceptable research. • Include references (including source and page numbers) which document every source upon which you have in any way relied for each paragraph of your paper. If sources are not properly refere nced, the student has cheated the sources out of deserved credit and cheated readers out of valuable information. • Do not use material from any other student’s paper or work unless you give that student full credit in reference notes. 6 Summary of Assignments Writing As s ignments Writing assignments must be APA compliant and include a title page, appropriate citations, and references.
