In this assignment, you will conclude the marketing plan you started in Unit VII by completing the second half of the marketing plan steps outlined in the beginning of Chapter 2. As you will recall, these are:
- Recommend the most important strategies and tactics.
- Check the numbers.
- Sell the plan.
- Execute and track progress.
Remember to continue the discussion of the same project example you chose in Unit VII. Your plan must be specific to your project example and show your own personalized approach. Ensure that you:
- include specifics of what you would do, ask, or research in each step for the most effective outcomes;
- show evidence of applied business principles and demonstrate your understanding of the course and unit concepts; and
- explain how the principles of social marketing will be implemented in your plan.
This second part of your marketing plan must be a minimum of three pages, not including the title and reference pages. You are encouraged to include graphics, charts, or other supporting material that will support or enhance your plan; however, these are not counted in the three-page written requirement. You must use at least 6 (SIX) sources to support your essay, including the 3 you used last week. All sources must come from the CSU electronic library, and must have citations and references properly formatted in APA Style

Identify potential methods for luring new clients. Encourage your current clients to buy your goods and services again. Just contemplate what would occur without one to see why a marketing plan is crucial. Your spending on advertising would be solely based on assumptions about the location and nature of your potential clients. You wouldn’t know which of your campaigns led to higher sales figures. Furthermore, you wouldn’t have any baselines to construct subsequent efforts off of that would be more successful. Step 1: Build a Cross-Functional Team The first step in developing a marketing plan is to assemble a cross-functional team. This team comprises individuals with various skills, including strategic marketing, financial analysis, new product development, and so on. The following team is important in any marketing plan Chief executive officer Chief financial officer New product development team Product managers Sales managers Marketing managers The above team will oversee the establishment and growth of the new service offering acupuncture as a treatment for pain. The team has identified the different types of information each of these roles will need to succeed. Finally, each team member has described how the information will be used. For example, the sales manager will collect information about the brand-new service target market, including demographics, psychographics, and buying behaviors, to develop sales strategies and objectives. To build a cross-functional acupuncture team to treat pain, we need to include members with various backgrounds and expertise (Vickers & Zollman, 1999). This team will include a medical doctor, an acupuncturist, and a pain specialist. The team should also have a good working knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and how it can be used to treat pain. One of the most important things that this team will educate the public about acupuncture and its potential benefits. This education can help reduce the stigma often associated with this form of treatment. The team will also work to promote acupuncture as a safe and effective treatment option for pain. Step 2: Check the Foundation and Long-Term Business Direction The second step in developing a marketing plan is to check the foundation and long-term business direction. The foundation of the marketing plan is the company’s mission, vision, and values. The long-term business direction is the company’s strategic direction, which is typically expressed in the form of a strategic plan. The above team will describe the company’s mission, vision, and values. Then they will identify the company’s strategic direction: to push the brand-new service offering acupuncture as a treatment for pain. The team member will describe how the company’s mission, vision, and values will fit with the company’s strategic direction. The team has identified the following; The company’s mission is to provide effective relief from pain symptoms and improve quality of life The company’s vision is to provide an alternative to traditional pain management methods that are often ineffective or have undesirable side effects. The company’s values are integrity, quality, customer focus, and innovation. Acupuncture is an effective treatment for pain because it works to release the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals. It is also a safe and non-invasive treatment option. The company’s strategic direction is to focus on acupuncture as a treatment for pain. This focus is based on the belief that acupuncture can be an effective treatment for various types of pain. The company plans to continue researching the effectiveness of acupuncture for pain relief and to advocate for the use of acupuncture as a treatment option for pain. Step 3: Clarify the Goals and Objectives The third step in developing a marketing plan is to clarify the goals and objectives. The marketing plan’s goals are the results the company wants to achieve, while the objectives are the specific actions the company will take to achieve those results. Our target customers include persons who want acupuncture as a treatment for pain. This is important since, with the new service in the market, we know our target market as well as objectives and how we will run our campaigns, as well as determining the required budget to set the new service going. The goal of acupuncture as a treatment for pain is to provide relief from pain by stimulating the release of endorphins. Studies have shown that acupuncture can be effective for treating various types of pain, including back pain, neck pain, and pain associated with osteoarthritis. Step 4: Conduct a Comprehensive Analysis The fourth step in developing a marketing plan is to conduct a comprehensive analysis. The analysis includes environmental, customer, competitor, and company analysis. Environmental analysis studies the external factors that can affect the company, such as economic, political, social, and technological factors. Acupuncture is generally considered a safe treatment with a low risk of serious side effects. The most common side effects are bruising and soreness at the needle site. Some people may also experience dizziness, nausea, or tiredness. Acupuncture is not suitable for everyone, and it is important to speak to a healthcare provider before treatment. Most customers who have used acupuncture to treat pain report that it is effective. Many say that it has helped to reduce their pain levels significantly. Some customers report having experienced complete relief from their pain after using acupuncture. Overall, customers are highly satisfied with acupuncture as a treatment for pain. Several other treatments for pain compete with acupuncture, including medication, physical therapy, and surgery (Stux, Berman & Pomeranz, 2003). Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and it is often up to the individual patient to decide which treatment is best for them. Acupuncture may be a good option for those who want to avoid medication’s side effects or are not candidates for surgery. Our research shows that acupuncture is a promising treatment option for pain relief. Studies have shown that it can be effective for treating various types of pain, including back pain, neck pain, and pain associated with osteoarthritis. In addition, acupuncture is generally considered safe, with few side effects. We will follow this pattern while administering treatment to a client; Recognize acupuncture as a potential treatment for your specific type of pain. We will recruit qualified acupuncturists who have experience treating pain. We will Schedule an initial consultation to discuss the customer’s pain and see if acupuncture is right for them. We will let the client follow our acupuncturist’s instructions and give them appointments. After a course of treatment, we will reevaluate the client’s pain to see if it has improved.
