Research and explain the impact of historic redlining policies. What is the impact of these policies on communities over generations? There are a lot of peer-reviewed articles on this topic. You are required to cite at least one peer-reviewed source using the Dallas College database; however everyone is encouraged to use more.  Explain what individuals and different levels of governments can do to make sure housing, banking, education or other areas of society are fairer for everyone?  Research Reminder:  Answers to the prompt questions need to be supported by reputable research. Do not give me your opinion. Make sure to do your own research, paraphrase information and then cite it using MLA parenthetical in-text citations with a corresponding Full MLA citation on the works cited page. A well written paper would use multiple peer-reviewed and other reputable sources. Section 2 in the syllabus explains what sources are acceptable.  Guidelines  Minimum requirements must be met to be eligible for a grade, otherwise the assignment will receive a zero.     Unless stated otherwise, all essay submissions must meet the Course Work Guidelines as stated earlier in this syllabus under Section 2.  Submission must be at least 2 pages long, * Times New Roman or Arial, 12-point font, double-spaced, with one-inch margins all around. (Page count does not include title or works cited pages)  Do not stop at two pages if you haven’t fully discussed the prompt questions. Two pages of your own words is the minimum to be eligible for a grade and does not mean you will get a passing grade on the assignment.  At least one peer-reviewed article that is published no later than 2011and is at least five pages in length.  Peer-reviewed article can ONLY be searched for on the Dallas College Library Database – Academic Search Complete. Do not search for Peer-reviewed articles on Google or anywhere else online.   All Information cited needs to be paraphrased and direct quotes must be avoided. DO NOT use block quotes.   All sources need to have a full MLA citation on the works cited page with corresponding parenthetical MLA in-text citations within the body of the essay. MUST HAVE BOTH. You cannot have one without the other.  Cite all reputable sources used. Stay away from blogs, unverified, nonreputable news organizations.  Do not use first person tone. Stick to thrid person.
