A2. Given the minerals being mined, state the nature of the groundwater contamination likely to be produced as a side effect of the proposed mining operation. Be sure to explain how the mining operation will lead to this contamination.

A3. For each of the three mineral sites (A, B, and C) state whether a mining operation at that site poses a risk to the water supply of nearby Geoville (presuming that Geoville gets its freshwater from wells into the groundwater directly below the town).Include a brief explanation of how you arrived at your conclusion in each case.
