Poetry Month is coming soon and you want to promote it.
Part 1: Flyer
Create an 8.5†x 11†flyer for families to announce an event to celebrate Poetry Month. Be creative and include time, place, purpose for learning, and importance of participation.
Part 2: Presentation
Create a 10-15 slide presentation for the event that is creative and includes the following:
- Five different types of poetry pieces with information about the potential students who will read aloud or recite the poetry
- Facts about the five poetry pieces
- Facts about the five types of poetry
- Purpose for learning poetry
In addition, create a title slide, reference slides, and presenter’s notes that offer detailed explanations.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a grading rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
