Instructions: In your text, you learned that Geier & Downey (1980) believe that there are six styles of listening: leisure, inclusive, stylistic, technical, empathic, and nonconforming. Each style of listener “hears” only communications that are consistent with his/her style. The purpose of this exercise is to provide you with an opportunity to practice communicating in different ways to different types of listeners.( See attachment )
indicate how you would speak to each of the six styles of listener. (*Note. Do NOT describe how you would speak to these listeners, write out exactly what you would say. Create a script if you want to explain other parts of the situation.)

Objective: The purpose of this assignment is to apply your knowledge from Chapter 14 of the text and the outline provided in the Organizational Development module.
Instructions: Think about either your current job (Dole Food Company) or one that you held previously. In about two pages, how would you describe the organizational culture? What types of values, beliefs, and traditions were there? What type of climate existed? Compare this culture to that of another job (Any company). ( Outline chap 11 attached)
