You will have to select a business organization (company) and imagine you have been appointed a

member of the marketing team. You need to present a report to the organization’s top management,

and based on this report certain decisions regarding marketing would be implemented, eg. budgeting

and staffing. You need to analyze and inspect its marketing functions and strategies and the kind of

business orientation followed by the selected organization. The analysis could provide discussions

on the organization’s business orientation whether being sales, product / s or marketing orientated.

You are free to choose a national (local) or international business (company).

As a member of a marketing team, you are expected to analyze the marketing strategies, activities

and practices followed by the selected business organization (company), in order to provide

evidence of current marketing performance.

Your report must include, a critical analysis of the market environment in which the chosen

business organization functions and relating this environment to the roles and responsibilities of

marketing and other functional units of an organisatio
