Using your book and outside sources compare and contrast society’s

response the current “opioid crisis” and the “crack epidemic” of the 1980s

and 90s. Through the lens of race and racism, focus on the way in which

the government, law enforcement and the media have framed and treated

both crises. To do this effectively you must:
